Saw a tik tok of this place and I was so excited to try their crab omelette rice which was sadly sold out when I arrived (8:30 pm on a Tuesday). We got fried fish balls, the khao soi and tom yum instead. The other two weren't particularly note worthy, but the khao soi was super flavorful and I liked the noodles' texture. Also, our waitress was really nice about everything and very attentive. Overall, the food was more of a 3/5 but the restaurant was really cute and I loved the service which bumped up the rating.

Cute spot with delicious food and great service, perfect for a casual date night or night out with friends especially if you like retro or old school vibes. I'm surprised by how few reviews Jai Sang Ma has and that it wasn't packed, because it's some of the best Thai food I've had in Elmhurst. Ordered the fried chilis and khao soi with tofu. The fried chilis were such a tasty and satisfying appetizer. Not too heavy or oily and won't ruin your appetite for a bigger meal, but just a good savory snack to munch on. I'd say they're about medium spicy so don't be scared off if the thought of chili pepper intimidates you! Khao soi was delectable with a rich savory broth, perfectly chewy noodles, and fresh vegetables/herbs that really elevated the flavor. I'm not usually into coconut based broths because I don't really like sweet entree dishes, but this wasn't sweet at all. I can't wait to eat my leftovers today because I know the tofu will have absorbed the flavors even more. Overall a great place to eat! Give Jai Sang Ma some love next time you're in the area!

CASH ONLY! Quaint spot with adorable decor and cozy vibes. The boat noodles was bombbbbb at $18, worth every penny. The best I've ever had in nyc. The crab omelet rice? Meh, it's alright for $22, but I'd skip it next time and double down on those noodles. They're the real reason I'll be back - can't resist!

New concept, same delicious food! Super adorable revamp. No one was karaoke-ing when we were there unfortunately. What we got: Leng Zaap (pork spine soup) - same and yummy, just like when I had it at Lamoon Laarb over rice dish - portion was a little small but really good! Cash only

I don't often write Yelp reviews but my meal at Jai Sang Ma last night is worthy of a review. What a hidden gem of a restaurant! I had the Leng Zaap, a delicious sour and spicy soup with fall-off-the-bone tender pork. It was so tasty I'm still thinking about it 24 hours later. The decor is also unique and this place is worth a revisit. What a great restaurant!!

What a hidden gem! Open late nights only and I'm glad I saved my appetite. I've never had better broth and this noodle soup was worth trekking across states for! Usually soup broths can be too salty and heavy and discarded after eating the noodles but not this one! The decor is reminiscent of a night stall in Thailand at night and very unique. The staff were super sweet and kind.
